Painting Class for Children aged 6-8
Our drawing courses for children aged 6-8 foster your child’s creative development and enhance their artistic skills. In the lessons, children will learn the basics of drawing and experiment with various techniques and materials, such as pencil, watercolor, gouache, and more. We offer exciting and diverse projects that strengthen fine motor skills, imagination, and concentration.
Each lesson includes practical exercises as well as theoretical content, where children will learn the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. We place special emphasis on an individual approach, allowing each child to develop new skills at their own pace.
The lessons are designed in a playful way, making learning both educational and enjoyable for the children. We guarantee that every class will not only be informative but also fun!
During the holidays in Basel and Basel-Landschaft, we do not have lessons for children, except for the holiday camp.

How it works
Duration of the Lessons
You can choose the option that suits your child best: lessons last either one or two hours. The course length is also flexible – we offer packages of 10 or 20 lessons.
You simply select a weekday and time that works well for you – your child will then attend class at this fixed time every week.
Regular attendance helps them stay engaged and continue growing creatively.
If your child misses a class, no problem: they may attend twice in one week during the course period to make up for the missed session.
Please note: missed classes are not rescheduled or carried over to future weeks.
You’re welcome to book a trial lesson (available once) to get to know us and our teaching approach.
Please note that we do not offer single/drop-in lessons, as our program is designed for continuous learning in a course structure.
What Happens During the Lessons?
Children draw and paint in a creative and supportive environment, guided by experienced instructors with a degree in fine arts.
Our courses encourage each child’s individual expression and help nurture a genuine joy in artistic creation.
Children are free to take breaks during class at any time. Fresh fruit is always available in our studio, so our young artists can recharge and stay inspired.
Holidays Courses
Dear Parents, welcome to our Art Camp!
Every day, we embark on new creative projects: ceramics, organic soap making, candle crafting, scented wax pendants, and painting with liquid acrylics. We also have a daily drawing lesson, where children explore various materials and techniques. They’ll have the opportunity to try painting with watercolors and tempera, enjoy free drawing time, and participate in lessons where the teacher explains essential drawing techniques.
Each day, children also have several playtime sessions in the playground, along with fun sports activities like tug-of-war, sack races, and other team games that help the children make new friends. We provide healthy snacks, fruits, vegetables, and delicious lunches to keep everyone energized.
All your child needs to bring is a water bottle. We'll take care of the rest!
